Caroline Sykes

One of the Beauty Unseen Role Models.
Chosen to take part in the South-West live show 2016

Caroline is from Mid Devon. She had a tough start to life, and has overcome a number of challenges, including abuse, drug and alcohol addiction and mental illness. She now works with deaf children with challenging behaviour, and wants to use her spotlight at the Beauty Unseen Show to encourage the public not to give up on people who appear “a lost cause”, and believes that with the right support, everyone has the power within them to change for the better.

“Caroline (Kaz) is very deserving of being nominated for the Beauty Unseen Show. She has been a real star for us, training and then running the length of Hadrian’s Wall to raise money for Mind TWS. During the challenge she injured herself, but with the support of her partner still raised a fantastic amount, and has been an inspiration to our team of volunteer fundraisers ever since. Without people like Kaz we as a charity could not offer the range of support service for people in mental distress that we do in our community.”
